Morning Everyone!

I hope you are all keeping well. It’s been so lovely to hear from some of you and I’m enjoying seeing pictures of everything you have been up to :) Feel free to send more on, including any videos for Active Week - I can share them on here for your friends to see!
I can be contacted at msbrazill@sspeterandpauljns.ie

The work for this week can now be found under the School Closure Work tab on this blog.

This week was meant to be Active School’s Week in school. Instead, we are now hoping to participate in Active Home Week. The idea is that the children participate for 60 minutes of active work each day. There will be daily ideas posted on the school website and I hope to share them here too. These are just suggestions, using items we have in and around the house. It is a bit of fun, with the idea that children are getting good exercise alongside it. Some of the teachers have been working very hard filming their videos for you all, so keep an eye out for them! Keep up with 10@10 (available on RTE player), the Body Coach on YouTube, Cosmic Kids Yoga, Go Noodle and give some of the other activities a go!

Today we have some fantastic ideas from Mr Donovan available via the school website or if you click this link: http://www.sspeterandpauljns.ie/asw-2020.html

During the week all the teachers created a short video message for you to see, letting you know that we are missing you all - if you have not seen this video yet, you can view it here - https://youtu.be/mjgxQ7ApXcc :)

As always, feel free to contact me throughout the week. It might seem like there is a lot of work on the plan, so pick and choose what suits your family best! It is a guide and please feel no obligation to complete everything.

I am missing you all so much and I hope you have a lovely week! :)

Stay safe,

Ms Brazill

You've Got a Friend in Me

Take care, Ms Brazill
Hi everyone! We are delighted to announce that next week is SS Peter & Paul’s Wellness Week.  Pupils, parents & staff have worked extremely hard since mid-March. Next week will be an opportunity for the school as a whole to step back from the books.  Our mental health & self-care is so important. Therefore, we will be suggesting some well-being activities to try together- mindfulness colouring, mindfulness breathing & meditation, nature art & gratitude.  All classes from Junior up to 2nd will receive the same suggested wellness plan for the week. We look forward to recharging the batteries & focusing on our well-being together as a whole school community. The Wellness Week Plan will be up on the blog on Tuesday morning! I have also received lots more photos, that you can look at on the Our Class from Home page to check out what everyone has been up to! Finally, a big Happy Birthday to Emily who turned 9 yesterday! ...
