Easter Activities

Friday 3rd April
Now that you do not have school work for the next two weeks here are some activities that you could do :)
Please remember that these are suggestions and there is no pressure to complete these activities.
Here are some skills and tasks that you could do:
– learn how to tie your shoe laces
– help wash up/tidy up after breakfast/dinner
– make your bed everyday
– clean your room
For Easter themed activities you could also try these:
You could also try baking some of these simple recipes at home if you have some of the ingredients:
The teachers in SS Peter and Paul's have also created an Easter Ideas Pick and Mix where you can choose different activities that you would like to do. Please note: We do not endorse any of the video links included or their creators. They have been screened for suitability but you are always advised to check them yourself also!  If the owner of any link would like it removed, please email office@sspeterandpauljns.ie and it will be removed immediately.

You can also find more activity ideas at the bottom of the School Closure Work tab on the blog.

Hi Boys and Girls, Today marks the end of your year in Second Class and I'm sure it will be one you will always remember. I'm so proud of each and every one of you for all the great work you did this year and how you adapted so well to the change to online learning. I had the most wonderful year with you all in Room 2, we have made lots of memories that I hope you will cherish. You are a brilliant class, don't ever forget it! I have created a video for you, looking back on lots of different things we did throughout the year, which you can watch below - I hope you enjoy it! To the parents, thank you so much for all the hard work you put in with your child since the school closed on March 12th, we would not have been able to do it without you and it is greatly appreciated.  I look forward to seeing some of you on the 24th of July for the First Holy Communion! I hope that you all have a fantastic summer and I wish you the very best going to St. Molagas next year - I will miss ...
Morning everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, enjoying the lovely sunshine we had! This week is our school's Wellness Week, where we will be taking a break from the academic work and focusing on our well-being and mental health. The Wellness Week Plan can now be found on the School Closure Work page. It's very important to take time to look after your well-being, especially at the moment, so we hope you enjoy this break from the work and books. I would love to see photos of the class participating,  if anyone wants to share, feel free to email them to me at msbrazill@sspeterandpauljns.ie  :) I hope you all have a great week, Take care, Ms Brazill
